Help keep the space open.
The publication is a shared undertaking. We invite people who connect with our editorial vision and want to take responsibility for helping it run — wherever their knowledge comes from.
You do not need permission from an institution to have something worth contributing.
An invitation, not an appointment
Bring your perspective. Share the work.
We are a small, volunteer-based collective beginning in Rena, Norway. We welcome people whose critical outlook speaks to our editorial vision, whether they come from universities, cultural work, other professions, or lived experience beyond established institutions.
You do not need a PhD, an impressive CV, an academic affiliation, or a public reputation. We are interested in how you think, what questions matter to you, and whether you would like to participate in making this space possible.
Tell us why you would like to join.
A brief explanation is enough. Share the concerns, experiences or ideas that draw you to this collective.
Introduce your background, in your own terms.
Formal education is welcome but never required. Work, community involvement, creative practice and lived experience count too.
Take on real, shared responsibilities.
Participants might review and discuss submissions, coordinate publishing, translate, help with outreach, organize conversations, or maintain the website. Administrative access is arranged with the people doing the work, with clear accountability.
Allow responsibilities to move.
No permanent positions of authority. Roles can be shared, reviewed and rotated. Someone may step back, hand over their tasks, or contribute in a different way as their circumstances change.
You may express interest under your real name, a pen name, or anonymously, without needing to explain why. Public membership does not require a public legal name. To take on ongoing administrative access, we need a reliable and secure way to coordinate with you, and access is granted through collective agreement and accountable safeguards. Read about anonymous and pseudonymous participation.
Expressions of interest are discussed by the participating collective, taking account of our editorial vision, mutual trust and willingness to contribute. Agreement with a fixed political or academic doctrine is not required. Joining is a process of conversation and shared responsibility, not an automatic grant of access through a form.
Different backgrounds. Equal standing. Responsibilities held in common, never owned forever.
Tell us a little about yourself.
No formal application letter or credentials needed. A few considered paragraphs are enough. You can write under your own name, a pen name, or anonymously.
The private form is available. You may write in the form or submit an expression of interest using a pen name or anonymously.
There is more than one way to participate.
You do not have to join the running collective to publish a piece or propose an argument. Writing and collective administration are different forms of participation, and both are welcome.
