AI and intellectual work.

We take responsibility, critical thinking and the quality of an argument more seriously than the tools used to develop it.

TECHNOLOGY IS A TOOLAUTHORSHIP REQUIRES RESPONSIBILITYTHE ARGUMENT COMES FIRST

We recognize artificial intelligence as a legitimate tool in intellectual production. Contributors are welcome to use AI throughout their research and writing processes, provided they remain critically engaged with their work and take responsibility for what they publish.

We believe technological assistance can help reduce existing barriers to intellectual participation. Its use does not inherently diminish intellectual authorship or the value of a contribution.

Our editorial assessment focuses on the substance of the work and the strength of its argument. Authors must verify their sources and disclose substantial AI involvement. Routine linguistic assistance does not require disclosure.

We welcome tools that contribute to a more accessible and democratic practice of intellectual expression, while maintaining the standards necessary for responsible publication.

For contributors

If AI played a substantial part in researching, structuring or generating your piece, please disclose that in your submission. Verify quotations, factual assertions, references and citations independently. Routine spelling, translation or language polishing does not need to be disclosed.

Acceptance remains based on the work’s substance and the strength of its argument.
